The Reasons Why You Should go to the Bill Taylor Golf Classic
The Newton Medical Center Auxiliary’s 24th Bill Taylor Classic Golf Tournament is only days away. Before the golf classic begins, we thought we would give you some of our favorite reasons why you should participate!
- All of the proceeds from the tournament benefit the Newton Medical Center. Over the 24 years the auxiliary has been hosting this event, the proceeds have allowed them to purchase a multitude of gifts; digital mammography, fetal monitoring and portable X-ray equipment.
- You don’t have to golf to participate! If you’re a business, the golf tournament offers many different levels of sponsorship. Businesses can also participate in the Health and Vendor Fair before the tournament begins.
- The afternoon is going to be fun-filled. From the helicopter golf ball drop to the many activities that are planned, you’re guaranteed a great Friday afternoon.
- The temperature is going to be perfect. I can’t think of a better way to spend the day than playing a round of golf, eating homemade treats from the women of the auxiliary and raising money for a great cause!
We’re excited to be able to participate in this great event. Join us on the veranda, we will be the people sipping sweet tea and eating fried apple pies, like any respectable southern person should be doing on a beautiful day. See you Friday!
