It is almost time for the Newton Medical Center Auxiliary’s 24th Annual Bill Taylor Classic Golf Tournament at The Oaks Course! The Tournament will be held on October 17th, and it is already guaranteed to be an amazing time. One of the best things about this tournament is it benefits our community. Registration is still open and only costs $160.
The tournament is a great way to give back to the community. All proceeds from the tournament will benefit Newton Medical Center. The Newton Citizen reports that the Auxiliary has raised many gifts for the hospital over the years, including; equipment for digital mammography, fetal monitoring, and portable X-rays. At The Oaks Course, we hope that the tournament will raise enough to give them another gift this year!
In the Newton Citizen, Richard Brown said, “This golf tournament is for the community. It’s not because you’re a golfer or not a golfer, it’s an opportunity to support your community hospital.”
You don’t just have to be a member of the community to participate in the tournament. The tournament also offers many sponsorship levels for businesses to get involved. There is gold, silver, and the ability to put sponsorships on the beverage carts, driving range, putting green, individual holes, or the tee box.
We hope to see a big turn out for the Bill Taylor Classic Golf Tournament. Not only does this tournament benefit our community, but it also is a fun time for participants.
