Join us for a Day of Fun at The Bill Taylor Golf Classic

The Bill Taylor Golf Classic is going to be a day so filled with fun; you will wish it was held every weekend. The Bill Taylor Golf Classic is held to raise money for the Newton Medical Center. Over the 24 years it has been held, a lot of money has been raised for the hospital. This has allowed them to buy equipment for digital mammography, fetal monitoring, and portable X-Rays.

While giving back to a good cause, you can participate in a lot of the fun games held at the golf classic. Some games that will be played include the circle contest, Yard Stick, and Pay the Pro.

While all those games are all fun, our favorite event is the golf ball drop. During the golf ball drop, a helicopter will drop 600 golf balls onto the course. If you have the first ball to drop into a hole you win the $500 prize. Tickets to participate in the golf ball drop are $10. It’s not every day that you get to see a helicopter over The Oaks Course. The excitement of the golf ball drop is what makes it our favorite.

Not only will you be having the time of your life, but you will also be benefitting a good cause. It is only $160 to register for the tournament and of the proceeds goes to the Newton Medical Center.
