Golf and Science Summer Camp Sessions: Beginning June 5th
School will be ending soon, and there is plenty to do this summer at The Oaks Golf Course! Sign up your youngster for our Golf and Science Camp, with summer camp sessions in both June and July. Our PGA professionals Brad and Gary teach the game of golf as well as sportsmanship, integrity, and respect—good foundations for life.
Our camps are perfect for all juniors, no matter their skill level. You can be sure that our camps focus on your child's well-being, by providing a safe & fun environment for them to grow as golfers and as people. Not only is golf a judge-free sport with no age limits, it also encourages diverse social connections by leveling men, women, and children all on the same playing field. The game isn’t about age or gender…it’s about skill. And golf is a non-contact sport in which the only real competition is yourself, so it’s also a minimal-risk sport for juniors.
After spending a gorgeous morning in the summer sunshine on the scenic Oaks Course, our campers will return to the clubhouse to learn about the environment and any wildlife that they may have experienced while being outside on our course. This year, we are excited to show our camp visitors how to plant a garden, create various handmade crafts, and explore the swamp and wetland. We will also receive a special visit by various species of birds and reptiles! Lunch will be included, and nutritious snack breaks are also offered during the day.
The first week of our Golf and Science Summer Camp begins on Monday, June 5th, and lasts from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm each day thru Friday, June 9th. Our second camp session will last from June 19th-23rd, and the last session of the summer is from July 10th-14th. Registration for our Golf and Science summer camp sessions are $200 per week.
If the duration of our camp doesn’t work with your child’s summer schedule, we also have half-day camp options available. The Half-Day Camp consists of morning golf instruction only, with no science portion. All camp dates are the same for either session, but will last from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Half-Day Camp registration is $125 per week.
